Kenneth O. Krause, age 92, of Gleason, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Ken was born July 12, 1922, in Merrill, son of the late Richard and Olga (Dubersteine) Krause. Ken married Eunice Peterson on January 6, 1945, in Merrill. She preceded him in death on June 17, 2009. Ken served in the United States Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged. He had worked at the former Ward Paper Company in Merrill. Ken was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling, and traveling. He and Eunice enjoyed their many trips out to Las Vegas.
Ken is survived by his daughter, Dana Zuelsdorff, of Gleason; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Krause; four sisters, Marie Stanke, Grace Smith, Mildred Winter, Elaine Kloss; five brothers, Lenard, Richard, Leslie, Harold, and Clarence Krause; and his son-in-law, Gerald Zuelsdorff.
At Ken’s request, there will be no services.
The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
