Marion P. Streeter

Marion P. Streeter, 64, of Merrill, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. She was born December 29, 1949 in Merrill to Clarence O. and Rose J. (Kottman) Polasek.
Marion attended Merrill Senior High School. She worked many years as a welder at Merrill Manufacturing. Marion found much enjoyment tending to her flower gardens and growing vegetables. She was a student of the Bible being very strong in her faith. Marion enjoyed spending time in her home. Some of her favorite past times include knitting, sewing putting together puzzles and fishing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her five children: Milton (Kim) Giese, Eau Claire, Charlotte (Garrett) Schumacher, Rothschild, Adrian Giese, Wausau, Ryan (Cory) Giese, Wausau, and Jessica Streeter, Merrill; six grandchildren and three siblings: Clarence Polasek, Linda Paulsen and Janice (James) Schneider, all of Merrill. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Polasek.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Waid Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Smallman will officiate. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday, June 13, 2014 and again from 10-11 Saturday before the service, all at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Merrill Memorial Park.
