Carlynn Ann Zander, 80, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Bell Tower Residence, Merrill.
Carlynn Ann Zander was born on September 24, 1933, in Merrill, the daughter of the late Ervin and Erna (Saeger) Zander. She was baptized on October 26, 1933 and confirmed on March 30, 1947. Carlynn had worked at M & I Citizens American Bank for 42 years, retiring in 1994 as the Assistant Vice President. She was a member of Valparaiso University Guild, and a former member of the National Association of Bank Women and the Business and Professional Women. Carlynn was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, where she was involved with the Choir, Altar Guild, and Board of Finance.
Survivors include her brother, Bruce (Lucille) Zander; one niece, Cherie (Doug) Shusta; and two nephews, Ritchie (Trisha) Zander and Scott Zander, all of Neenah. Carlynn is further survived by five great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Erna Zander; and an aunt, Eva Saeger.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 13, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate. Burial will take place in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Friday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
