Guaranty Title Services, Inc. (“GTS”) (www.titleservice.com) announces the appointments of David Welles and Michelle Skic to its senior management team in Northern Wisconsin. Both David and Michelle have established themselves as leaders in regional real estate industry and have joined GTS to help it realize its ambitious growth plans, reiterating GTS’ commitment to winning in Wausau, Merrill and Northern Wisconsin. David Welles is teaming up with GTS as its Executive Director for the Northern Region, in which capacity he will lead service operations in Wausau and Merrill. Michelle Skic joins GTS as Manager of its Merrill branch.
As Executive Director of GTS’s Northern Region, David is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the region, and will play the lead role in developing and executing the strategy for growth. David will lead and work with the excellent leadership teams in Wausau and Merrill, led by branch managers Angela Stephens and Michelle Skic.
Prior to joining GTS, David established himself as one the leading real estate and business law attorneys in the region. His legal experience includes past roles as a partner at Ruder Ware and more recently at the law firm of Eaton , John, Overbey & Welles. As a lawyer, David handled complex transactional and litigation matters, and established an excellent reputation for his commercial and legal acumen and integrity.
Michelle Skic joins GTS from a successful career in lending, previously holding positions of Branch Manager, Mortgage Loan Officer and Vice-President of River Valley Bank in Merrill and Tomahawk, WI. Michelle’s primary responsibilities include oversight and management of the GTS Merrill office and executing on the GTS strategy of growth and expansion in the region.
Jaimie Hoeft has been named Assistant Regional Manager – Search for GTS and will coordinate search/examining processes across the region. Jaimie has extensive experience in title and has earned the respect and favor of customers and industry experts alike through her commitment to quality, thoroughness and efficiency.
