Mary Ellen Jacoby obituary

Mary Ellen Jacoby, age 72, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at House of the Dove in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Mary Ellen was born August 31, 1941. She was a daughter of the late Genevieve and Perry Hahm of Lindsey, WI, and graduated from Marshfield High School. She married Jim Jacoby on September 16th, 1961 and together they owned and operated several businesses including a restaurant and a hardware store. For the past 25 years they have made their home by the lake near Irma, WI.
Mary Ellen enjoyed gardening and reading and loved all things horses.  She adored spending time with her family and especially treasured her time making memories with her beloved granddaughters, Stella, Mariah and Scarlett, who brought her great joy.
Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, Jim; her sons, Jim (Maradee) and Kevin (Laurie); her granddaughters, Stella, Mariah and Scarlett; brother, Eugene (Darlene) Janes; and sister, Patricia Johnson.
A Memorial Service for Mary Ellen will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, WI. Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.   A meal at Les and Jim’s will follow the Memorial Service.  The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.  
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to T.B. Scott Library in Merrill, WI.
