Milton H. Klinger

Milton H. Klinger, age 83, passed away Friday, Feb.14, 2014 at his home.
Milton was born June 12, 1930 in Oshkosh, WI to Fred and Kathryn Klinger. He married Marvel Norman on Oct. 23, 1970. She passed away Feb. 12, 2002.
Throughout his life Milton has enjoyed many types of fishing with fly fishing being his favorite, waterfowl and bird hunting, deer hunting, raising ducks, geese, gamebirds, and fish, feeding the deer, and up until June 2013, was fly fishing from his boat with his son Steve. Milton liked to tie his own flies for fishing. He also enjoyed listening to the radio, especially old country music. Milton liked jokes and had a good sense of humor, many times having a witty comeback.
Milton had various jobs in his life and worked for Merrill Manufacturing for over 30 years, retiring in 1990.
Milton is survived by his son Steven C. Plautz with wife Michelle, sisters Alice Busha of Goodlettsville, TN and Ruth Allen with husband Darrel of Kenosha, many nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Mark Martin of Nebraska, and beloved Black Labrador Retriever Sasha.
Milton was preceded in death by his wife Marvel, his parents Fred and Kathryn, brother Orville, sister Athene Martin, infant brother David, sister-in-law Phyllis Klinger and brother-in-law Lester Busha.
The family would like to thank the Ministry Hospice team of Rhinelander and all the wonderful caring staff of Kindhearted Home Care for their loving care, kindness, patience and attention to Milton which enabled him to live the rest of his life at home.
