Artisan Showcase

Twenty-one artisans from the Merrill area will display their creativity on Feb. 8 at the Artisan Showcase held in Assisi Hall at Bell Tower Residence, 1500 O’Day St. in Merrill. The show will run from 1-5 p.m. and will feature artists from Merrill, Wausau, Tomahawk, Minocqua and Irma. They will display and sell their creations in pottery, wood carving, wildlife art, glass fused and copper jewelry, scarves and handbags, quilting, fiber arts, pine needle baskets, fishing lures, photography, realistic painting and more.
The 2014 participants are: Jack Ader, Ben and Kathy Burger, Francine Cieslicki, Andy Goretzki, Ann Jaroski, Jamie Kalvestran, Sandy Lussenhop, Kris McGarigle, Jackie Michael, Herb Nelson, Greg Nimmer, Gary Pagel, Ron Pankow, Bill Pittman, Scott Savage, Louise Schotz, Susan Van Sleet, Natalie Watland, Roger Wendorf, Marcy Wiltgen.
An on-site raffle will be held at the show with nine artists donating their artwork. Come and take your chance at winning one of the original art pieces. Tickets may be purchased on-site for $1 or 5 for $5. The drawing will be held at 4:45 p.m.
This is an outstanding opportunity to see the varied talents of area artists. We invite you to spend the afternoon in beautiful Assisi Hall, view the art work, listen to piano music, enjoy a beverage, wine and cheese and pick up a one-of-a-kind piece of aft for someone special. Admission is $5 and includes the show, refreshments and a chance to rub elbows with other art lovers. All profits go to Bell Tower Residence.
