Library hosts cookbook exchange

As part of Merrill’s WinterFest celebration, T.B. Scott Free Library will be hosting a Cookbook Exchange. The Cookbook Exchange is being held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Jan. 25 in the T.B. Scott Free Library Community Room.
The Cookbook Exchange provides community members with an opportunity to trade in a cookbook that is no longer being used for a different one. If you have cookbooks you no longer use, or are in search of new cooking experiences, this is your big chance!
No transfer of money is involved – simply cookbooks. Sort through your cookbooks at home and set aside the ones you wish to donate or exchange. You may drop off donations before Jan. 25, or bring your cookbooks on Saturday to exchange for different ones.
Upon arrival to the exchange, participants will receive a coupon in exchange for their cookbook. All cookbooks will be displayed in the community room for browsing. Those who bring a paperback cookbook are entitled to exchange their coupon for another paperback, while those who bring a hardcover cookbook can take another hardcover.
Light refreshments will be served for your enjoyment, and new inspiration for winter cooking will be abundantly present.
Any cookbooks remaining from the exchange will be passed along to the Friends of T.B. Scott Library. Contact the library at 715-536-7191 with any questions.
