Barbara ?Barb? A. Biddick

Barbara “Barb” A. Biddick, age 61, of Deforest passed away on Nov. 29, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  
She was born on Jan. 28, 1952 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Wilber and Frances (Stine) Reichelt. She married Dan Biddick on Dec. 23, 1972 in Merrill.
Barb was a college graduate of U.W. Platteville and U.W. Madison where she earned both a Bachelors and a Master’s Degree. After school she worked for the Argyle School District, Cesa Fennimore, and the Pardeeville School District. Barb volunteered for the Montfort Wisconsin Rescue Squad, Debriefing Services for critical incident stress situations, and the American Red Cross. Barb was a member of the Lima Union Church for many many years; she was also a member of DKG and served as an officer for a number of years.
She will be survived by her husband, Dan; two children, Nathanial (Cory) of Dallas, TX, Benjamin (Cara) of Janesville; four grandchildren, Kalea, Catherine, Augustus and Emmerson. She is also survived by her brother, Tom (Barb) Reichelt of Stevens Point; a half-brother, Lee Neubauer (Mary) from Merrill; and also a half-sister, Sue Hodgson from River Falls, WI.
A visitation will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6101 University Ave, Madison, WI 53705 on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 3-8 p.m.  Funeral services will also be held at Asbury United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. No visitation will be held before service.
In lieu of flowers, donations and memorials will be used to create a scholarship fund.
The Biddick family would like to thank all of her associates over the years and especially all of the Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Meriter Hospital, Home Health United, and Brightstar. She loved all the kids, staff, and community at Pardeeville.
