Suzann Joy Pickard, age, 54, of Merrill, passed away on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.
She was born March 31, 1959, in Merrill, daughter of the late David “Tinker” and Joyce (Seehafer) Knospe. She married Michael Pickard on May 7, 1999. He survives.
Suzann attended Merrill Senior High School. For the past 35 years she was employed with Lincoln Wood Products of Merrill. Suzann enjoyed spending time with her husband watching their favorite television programs, especially the Green Bay Packers. She also enjoyed visiting with family, reading novels, and playing with her pet dogs and birds. Suzann was a proud mother of her children, Melissa and Robert Espeseth. She was looking forward to becoming a grandmother with her daughter Melissa expecting a child in a few months. Suzann was also very proud of her son Robert who is serving his country with the U.S. Army stationed in Afghanistan.
Suzann will be deeply missed by her husband Mike; children Melissa Espeseth (with Mark Peterson) of Wausau, and Robert Espeseth, U.S. Army in Afghanistan; two step children Aaron Pickard and Monica Pickard (with Patrick Literski), both of Wausau; three sisters Roxann (Mrs. Richard) Schmidt, Wausau, and Lynann (Mrs. Michael) Isaacson and Diann (Mrs. Robert) Williams, both of Merrill; her mother in law, Kathy Pickard of Merrill; her in laws, Brenda, Debbie, Matt, and Joe; three step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Suzann is preceded in death by her father in law, Edgar Pickard.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
