Riverside Athletic Club and Parisi Speed School, with the help of their members and Parisi students, were able to donate food to the Food Pantry for the upcoming holiday season.
“In the month of October, new members could bring in a canned food donation and they received the month of October for free,” said Dawn Krueger, Member Services Team Member. “The response was great. A lot of people brought in food to help out. We are now doing a Spirit of Christmas Toy Drive to collect toys for kids in our area,” Krueger continued. “If someone joins in November and brings in a new toy, we will give them November for free. It’s a great time to come in out of the cold and begin your membership at Riverside Athletic Club.”
“We also encourage our kids in the Parisi Speed School to donate,” said Eric Filipiak, Program Director of the Parisi Speed School. “We also offered a free $50 evaluation to any child who brought in a canned food donation. It was a win-win for everyone.”
