Jack Reichelt

Jack Reichelt, 86, of Merrill, died on Oct. 27, 2013 at Pine Crest Nursing Home under the care of Hospice.
Jack was born Aug. 20, 1927 to William and Anna (Euler) Reichelt. He married Rose Frick on March 8, 1968, who survives.
After serving in the Navy, Jack worked at Wausau Papers until his retirement in 1989. He was an avid outdoorsman who lived to do wood carvings which he shared with family and friends. After retiring, Jack and Rose traveled to many areas of the United States including Alaska. In his earlier years, he enjoyed racing stock cars, boats, sailing and scuba diving.
Besides his wife, Jack is further survived by one son, David Sr. (Lora) Reichelt; two daughters, Sharon (John) Uttech and Daniete Daley; one brother, Robert Reichelt; grandchildren, David Jr. (Nicole Goetsch), Jason (Samantha), Kevin, Eric (Kim Walker), Chris (April), Shannon (Cody), Shawn, Matt (Andrea), Tim and Jenny; great grandchildren, Jackson, Wyatt, Makayla, Breonah, Owen, Mike, Jaimie, Bayley and Chloe.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Bowen, two brothers, Wilbur and Arthurm and two sisters, Ethel Nickel and Pauline Dietrich-Teschner.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Pine River Town Hall, N1647 Deer Run Ave., from 1-6 p.m. The family would like to thank Pine Crest Nursing Home and Ministry Health Care Hospice.
Taylor & Stine Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
