Cattle Rescue, Inc. is inviting the public to attend Trick or Treat on the Farm at N5891 Hwy. 17, Gleason, on Oct. 31, from noon-4 p.m.
There will be free candy for kids, coffee, hot apple cider and homemade cookies. One of the farms used to rehabilitate rescued livestock, the location features a beautiful historic barn on the Prairie River which has been decorated for fall.
Costumes are encouraged, and many of the Cattle Rescue volunteers will be dressed up as well. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
With winter coming, Cattle Rescue, Inc. is expecting to soon see a large number of starving animals. The non-profit organization relies on donations to provide feed, transportation and a safe environment for the animals.
