Pearl H. Waldburger, age 80, of Tomahawk, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at Golden Living Center – Golden Age, Tomahawk.
Pearl was born Dec. 29, 1932, in Merrill, daughter of the late Arnold and Lucy Wyland. She married Fred Waldburger, Jr. in April of 1950. They later divorced.
Pearl was a clerk at the former McClellan’s in Merrill. Pearl enjoyed antiquing, gardening, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include seven sons, Fred (Janet) Waldburger, of Stoughton, WI, Michael Waldburger, of Tomahawk, Jimmy (Cindy) Waldburger, of Merrill, Richard (Sue) Waldburger, of Green Lake, WI, Ronald (Christine) Waldburger, of Solon, IA, Larry (Vicki) Waldburger, of Merrill, and Kirby (Renee) Waldburger, of Belton, TX; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and seven siblings, Patty (Scott) Stevenson, of Tomahawk, Loretta “Pudge” (Ron) Hulke, of The Villages, FL, Verdaine Mattson, of Merrill, Delores “Toppy” Smith, of Medford, Sandra (Fran) Doering, of Payson, AZ, Allan (Doris) Wyland, of Hamilton, MT, and Arnold (Carol) Wyland, of Merrill. Pearl was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Waldburger; and two sisters, Emily Streich and Glorian Sukow.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Maurice Schaus will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Town of Rock Falls, Lincoln County. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
The Waldburger Family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Living Center – Golden Age for the care given to Pearl.
