The Merrill Police Department is hosting a Town Hall meeting in the council chambers at City Hall on Monday, Sept. 16, from 7-8 p.m. The Town Hall meeting will give city of Merrill residents an opportunity to discuss issues related to crime prevention in the city of Merrill.
The community discussion will center on current drug trends in the area, as well as other criminal activity, residential crime prevention tips, the promotion of a new internet based social network for city residents which will facilitate communication among city residents and city government, and it will include a Q&A session with Merrill Police.
All city residents are invited to attend. The Town Hall meeting is part of the Merrill Police Crime Prevention Initiative.
