Grand prize chosen in library contest
Martin Hall was chosen from a record 611 entries as the grand prize winner in T.B. Scott Free Library’s Lincoln County Reads Adult Summer Library program. For having one of his three entry forms chosen, Hall won a basket of prizes valued at over $100.
A total of 203 readers entered this summer’s contest, including 83 new entrants. Entries were up over 30% from 2012, and participants increased 28%.
In all, 71 prizes were awarded to T.B. Scott Free Library contestants, thanks to the support of prize sponsors: Hardee’s, Johnson Gifts & Home Decor, Culver’s, Hugo’s Pizza, Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe, Young’s Drug Store, Family Chiropractic Clinic, Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes, Champ’s Restaurant, Auto Jockeys, and the Friends of T.B. Scott Library.
