Jill Christine Mork

Jill Christine Mork, of Pearson, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 64 years old.
She was born on Nov. 7, 1948 in Merrill, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lois (Ruder) Litkey. She married Wayne Mork on Aug. 12, 1972 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1999.
She was a 1966 graduate of Merrill High School.
The majority of her working years were spent in Iowa County, retiring to Rolling Stone Lake in 1995. She was employed as a sales clerk at the Country Store in Pearson for eight years, until 2011.
She had a passion for frogs. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Mork of Pearson and Vicki Mork of North Port, FL; a son, W. Aric Mork of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Lindsey, Matthew, Zachery “Zeb,” Aaron, Alyssa, Arlena and Armani; a great-granddaughter, Keylee; special friends, Sandy and Lynn; and her pet rabbit, Cadberry. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel, with Reverend David Zimmerman officiating. A private burial will take place in the Pearson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
