Crews are planning single, daytime lane closures on northbound US 51 between the Marathon County line and Lincoln County K, beginning this week.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to complete pavement maintenance. During the lane closures the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and be alert for slow moving vehicles and workers inside the work zone.
Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, Aug. 29. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
