Waid Funeral Home & Cremation Service is sponsoring “Stuff the Truck” on Saturday, Aug. 3 to benefit the Lincoln County Humane Society. The event will be held at Drew’s Piggly Wiggly from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Funeral home staff will be collecting donations of items on the Humane Society’s wish list, including bleach, laundry detergent, hand soap and sanitizer, kitty litter, dish soap, garbage bags, latex gloves and moist cat and dog food.
Cash donations are also welcome.
