July computer, eBook coaching at T.B. Scott Library
It’s not too late to participate in a July Computer Coaching or ebook session at T.B. Scott Free Library.
Computer Coaching will be offered on Wednesday, July 10 at 6 p.m., and Thursday, July 11 at 1 p.m. Sessions last 90 minutes; you’re welcome to come to all or part of a session. Reservations are appreciated but not necessary. Bring your own computer if you like.
Computer Coaching helps you learn, in a low-stress setting, what you want to know about computers. Get help with Facebook, job searching, general Web browsing, email accounts, genealogy research, mouserobics, antivirus software, Windows 8, and more. In addition, you can be a winner: all coachees are eligible for the monthly door prize, a USB drive, courtesy of Merrill Radio Shack and the Friends of T.B. Scott Library–we’ll be happy to show you how to use it.
eBook Coaching sessions will also be offered on the next two July Thursdays, July 11 and 18, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. eBook Coaching is designed to help you get comfortable with using your iPad, Kindle, nook, or other eReader device, and help you use the library for free ebook content. No reservations are needed. Bring your own device. Come any time during the 90-minute session.
If you can’t make a session this month, mark next month’s calendar for Computer Coaching on Aug. 6-8, and for eBook coaching on Aug. 1 and 8.
