The Maple Grove governance board is anticipating three vacancies that will be filled by June 30, 2013.
According to approved procedures for filling governance board vacancies, the notice of vacancies was announced at the April and May regularly scheduled meetings and is found within the official minutes. Anyone interested in possibly filling a governance board vacancy is asked to please forward a written declaration of candidacy statement to the Maple Grove governance board President, Melissa Voigt, by sending the notice to the Maple Grove School no later that Friday, May 31, 2013.
Persons who file a declaration of candidacy shall be given an opportunity to make a written or oral statement on their behalf at a meeting noticed for that purpose. The governance board may ask questions, discuss candidates, and vote in new governance board members.
