“Wisconsin’s Northwoods are absolutely beautiful and a nice change of pace!” said Mrs. Walker. “With Spring finally in full swing I’m looking forward to walking along the lake in Tomahawk and through the winding, wooded trail in Antigo.”
The Bradley Park walk in Tomahawk will be about two miles winding along the picturesque shores of Lake Mohawksin. In Antigo, the two-mile walk along Springbrook Trail offers a scenic 1,800 foot boardwalk and trail that winds through four park areas and a wilderness area, all within city limits.
Tomahawk walkers can park at the Bradley Park boat landing and walkers in Antigo can park at the Antigo Little League Park, 830 Langlade Rd. Walkers are also advised to wear or bring with them the following: good walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, appropriate outerwear for the weather, camera and water.
