Raynette I. Runge

Raynette I. Runge, age 74, of Merrill, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Raynette was born October 1, 1938, in Merrill, daughter of the late Oscar and Nellie (Bennett) Wangen. She married Charles Runge on April 13, 1957, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. He preceded her in death. Raynette was a volunteer with the Food Pantry, she was a member of the Homemakers Club, and she also was a member of several bear, sewing, and knitting clubs. Raynette was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill, where she was involved in the Ladies Aid and the former Dorcas Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Tom) Menge, of Kenosha, and Debbie (Chris) Stogbauer, of Merrill; four sons, Rod (Laurie) Runge, of Merrill, Val (Jane) Runge, of Mount Vernon, WA, Randy Runge, of Denmark, WI, and Mitch (Nicole) Runge, of Merrill; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on-the-way; one sister, Halena (Lyle) Anderson, of Merrill; two brothers, Oscar (Jeannie) Wangen and Ralph (Betty) Wangen, both of Merrill; and one sister-in-law, Emily May, of Gleason. Raynette was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Runge; and her parents, Oscar and Nellie Wangen.
The funeral will be at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. David Szeto will officiate. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and after 12:30 P.M. Saturday, all at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Merrill Food Pantry or St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill.
