Andrew Lee Ninnemann, age 21, of Wausau died Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Andrew was born on February 6, 1991 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Flint and Annette (Gerber) Ninnemann.
Andrew graduated from D.C. Everest Senior High School where he enjoyed participating in various sports. Andrew enlisted in the United States Army Reserve when he was a junior and completed his training after his senior year of high school. As a specialist in the 428th Engineer Company he was deployed to Afghanistan from August 2010 to August 2011. Andrew enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on his Chevy Blazer, waterskiing, gaming on his X-box, mudding, riding his Harley, and many other activities.
Andrew is survived by his father Flint Ninnemann of Aniwa; mother Annette Ninnemann (Brian Mindeman) of Weston; six sisters Amanda (Eric) Massart of Green Bay, Ashley Ninnemann of Rothschild, Kaitlyn Ninnemann of Antigo, and Bailey, Cassidy, Sydney Mindeman of Florence, AZ; nephews Jeremy, Jayden and Nathan and niece Kyla Jolee; maternal grandmothers Nancy Holden and Janice Gerber and paternal grandmother Lucille Stevens; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Andrew is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Rudolph F. Gerber Sr.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Brainard Funeral Home-Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. Charlie Salamone of Downtown Mission Church and CH (Cpt) Randy Croel will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday. A pot luck luncheon to follow after the service, further details will be given at that time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
