The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place in the Town of Somo – north and west of the City of Tomahawk on Monday afternoon.
The victim, a 66 year old Tomahawk man, was transported to Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital following the incident by private auto. He has since been transported to a trauma center for further treatment of a gunshot wound.
According to a statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was listed in fair condition Monday night.
Sheriff’s detectives have interviewed a witness in the case and are continuing to investigate.
No further information was being released Tuesday morning.
