Phillip ?Flippy? Lambrecht

Phillip “Flippy” Lambrecht , 75, of Wausau, passed away on Monday, September 10th at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Phillip was born on June 18, 1937 in Wausau to the late Robert and Helen (Beyer) Lambrecht. He married Virginia De Lonay on December 27, 1986 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Phillip attended Wausau High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 – 1958 during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Montgomery Plant Post #10 and VFW Burns Post #388. After 39 years of service, Phillip retired from Wausau Paper Mill.
Phillip is survived by his wife Virginia, sons Russell (Barbara) Lambrecht, Ringle, Kenneth (Debbie) Lambrecht, Wausau, daughter June (Tom) Bodgonas, Loxley, Alabama, step-sons Robin (Kate) De Lonay, Wausau, Jeffery (Lori) De Lonay, Wausau, Steven De Lonay, Medford, Brian (Cheryl) De Lonay, Menomonee Falls, Aaron (Delaina) De Lonay, Columbia, Missouri, Douglas (Danielle) De Lonay,Wausau, Dan (Sara) De Lonay, Racine, step-daughter Jennifer De Lonay, Marengo, eight grandchildren, fifteen step-grandchildren and one great grand-daughter, brother Harvey (Karen) Lambrecht, Merrill, sister Beverly Lambrecht, Janesville and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Phillip was preceded in death by three brothers, Warren, Delmer, and Robert Jr., and one sister, Violet Beyer.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 18th at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Wausau. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of service at the church. Immediately following mass, full military honors will be provided by American Legion Montgomery Plant Post #10. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park.
