Linda S. Perry, age 61, of Merrill, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston, after a courageous 19 month battle with cancer.
Linda was born November 14, 1950, in Wausau, daughter of the late Ross and Ruth (Muelver) Dornbrack, Sr. She married Randy W. Perry on September 16, 1972, in Merrill. He survives. Linda had worked for 32 years at Wausau Insurance as a Worker’s Compensation Clerk. She most recently was a receptionist at State Farm Insurance in Merrill. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, sewing, volunteering with the Girl Scouts, and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her husband, Randy W. Perry, of Merrill; one daughter, Holly (Pete) Bella, of Stevens Point; two sons, Corey (Cathy) Dornbrack, of Merrill, and Jon W. (Michelle) Perry, of Milwaukee; five grandchildren, Alayna, Carl, Reece, Rose, and Peter, Jr.; one sister, Julie (Lance) Toepper, of Denver, CO; and two brothers, Ross (Lillian) Dornbrack, Jr., of Tomahawk, and Gary (Susan) Dornbrack, of Rochester, MN. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her cousin and good friend, Karen Woellner.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Pastor Missy Holdorf will officiate. Burial will take place in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday all at the funeral home.
