W. Donald Roberts, Jr., former owner of WJMT/WMZK Merrill/Wausau and WJMS/WIMI in Ironwood, died at his home in Keswick, VA, on July 23, 2012.
Don was born in New York City on Nov. 7, 1926. He is survived by his wife Maureen (Wright, former Ironwood resident); daughters, Susan Casey of Naples, FL, Linda Dendy (Dwight) of Caledonia, IL; sons, Walter D. Roberts III (Joan) of Kensington, NH, John W. Roberts (Rebecca) of Merrill; and daughter Candisse Reynolds of Palmyra, VA.
