Dorothy M. Boquist, age 86, of Merrill, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
Dorothy was born November 11, 1925, in the town of Schley, Lincoln County, daughter of the late William and Lena (Beyer) Mosser. She was a retired employee of Semco, Inc. of Merrill. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and baking, puzzles, doing word search, traveling, polka dancing, and maintaining her home.
Survivors include five daughters, Elaine Wicke and Carol Boquist, both of Merrill, Betty (Dan) Walrath and Sandra (Bill) Koutnik, both of Deerbrook, and Karla Boquist (Freddy Latzig), of Merrill; three sons, Pete Boquist (Debbie Rehfeld), of Merrill, Bob (Rose Ann) Boquist, of Gleason, and Don (Jenalyn) Boquist, of Irma; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Leona Doering, Mildred Roman, and Joanne Myszka, all of Merrill, Sharon (John) Madden, of Gleason, and Patti Mosser, of Merrill; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Boquist; a grandson, Lucas Boquist; a great-grandson, Adam Kufahl; a sister, Elvina Folta; and two brothers, Walter and William Mosser.
Dorothy’s wishes were that her funeral service be private. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family.
