Two-car crash in Harrison

On Tuesday, June 12, at approximately 10:06 a.m., the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office dispatch center received a call of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Rd. A and Theis Rd. in the town of Harrison.

A vehicle driven by Leanne Setlak of Tomahawk was traveling eastbound on County Rd. A. Another vehicle driven by Mark D. Lillie of Wausau was traveling north on Theis Rd. The two vehicles struck each other when the Lillie vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign on Theis Rd., according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department report.
Rhinelander Ambulance and Cresent Fire responded to the scene. Lillie had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Cresent Fire Department.
Both were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. Setlak was treated and released with injuries. Lillie remained hospitalized in critical condition. The accident remains under investigation.
