Mary Ellen Daley, 57, of Merrill, died peacefully at home on Thursday, May 24, 2012 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services.

She was born September 22, 1954 in Highland Park, MI, the daughter of the late Jesse E. & Eunice M. (Luce) Russell. She married Timothy Daley on September 29, 1995 in Merrill. He survives.
Mary attended Poynette High School. She worked as a CNA at Walnut Grove Assisted Living in Merrill. Mary had raised chickens for eggs and in her spare time she liked to crochet. She also had a beautiful collection of angels. Mary had a special place in her heart for her cat, Oscar.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Daley of Merrill, her son, Mike (Raelena) Fecht Jr., Merrill, her daughter, Jessica Fecht, Portage, step-daughters; Brenda (Fred) Solis and Milinda Daley both of Portage and Amanda (Mark) Kuester of Baraboo,
her sister, Sharon (Al) Bruhn of Paris, CA and 20 grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse F. Russell Jr.
Per Mary’s wishes there will be no services. A family burial will take place at a later date at Hill Crest Cemetery in Endeavor, WI. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
