Julie Youtsos Malinowski

Julie Youtsos Malinowski, age 68, of Merrill, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Julie was born August 29, 1943, in Wausau, daughter of the late Gust and Georgia (Angilos) Youtsos. She married Henry Malinowski in April of 1972. He preceded her in death in September of 2005. Julie was president of Texas Recreation, Inc. which operated both the Merrill Public Golf Course and the Trapp River Golf Course. She was the former owner/operator of Julie’s House of Cards in downtown Wausau. Julie enjoyed being a snowbird in Nevada. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed shopping for them. Julie was also an Elvis Presley fan.
Julie is survived by her children, Connie (Greg) Barlow, Las Vegas, Steve Malinowski, Wausau, Michael (Wendy) Malinowski, Merrill, Amy (David) Meyer, Ringle, and Mark Malinowski, U.S. Army stationed in Germany; and seven grandchildren, Megan and Nicholas Barlow, Chloe and Maria Malinowski, and Andrew, Jackson, and Amanda Brown. Julie is preceded in death by two siblings, Bob Youtsos and Doris Glaser.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, May 11, 2012, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Father Peter Pappademetriou will officiate. Entombment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 9:30 A.M. Friday, all at the funeral home.
