Park Street Properties of Merrill has announced signing a lease with a new retail store operator to be located in the building at 801 E. First St. The location was home to the Mustard Seed until this past January, and more recently, home to the City Center Arts and Crafts gallery.
Owners of the store are keeping a wrap on the type of store planned and will have the windows papered so they can keep the secret until they open. Current plans are to be open toward the end of June and to celebrate their Grand Opening on Aug. 11.
Spokesman for Park Street Properties, Chris Malm, was excited to announce the new store as it will add another unique format to the 800 Block in downtown Merrill. The store will join Three Wishes (soon to include Blooms on Main), Skippers, the recently opened Yours and Mine Consignment store, Merrill Karate Club, Satin Plus Silks by Janelle, Waves, First Street Coffee Station and City Center Arts and Crafts newly located in the Merrill City Center building.
