Merrill winter sports teams reward seasons of success

The MHS winter sports teams recently capped off exciting seasons by offering letters, participation awards and even special awards to their athletes with celebrations for members and their families.
Earning a letter in boys basketball were: Paul Theorin, Nick Peterson, Greg Boyce, Ben Anderson, Brandon Bartz, David Jesperson, Nick Mootz, Andrew Seaman, Michael Seaman, Garret Pagel, Josh Harris, Adam Smith, Jared Wardall, Ross Bezier, Jake Walsh.
Receiving participation awards were: Logan Burnett, Trevor Myers, Jacob Sabey, Kris Philipp, Cole Gustke, Chaz Mootz, Alex Zettler, Nick Breaman, Jake Anderson, Sam Skic, Matt Rekowski, Tucker Diethelm, Trent Rathke, Adam Messerschmidt, Frederick Schultz, Eric Zengler, Keenan Stellingworth, Trey Stevenson, Lakotz Zerbe, Justin Pyan, Tom Grund, Mitchell Stockowitz, Adam Burnett, Mitchel Schmidtke.
Collecting a letter for girls basketball were: Dawn Leland, Liz Smith, Kendra Andreska, Aubrey Wardall, Marissa Bartz, Jourdyn Mootz, Reegan Byer, Brianna Lamonica, Renee Sladek.
Picking up a participation award were: Claire Peterson, Mandy Vonderheid, Morgan Marnholtz, Mariah Turenne, Hannah Marrier, Lauren Hojan, Morgan Wilde, Lexi Grzanna, Sarah Woller, Ashley Berton, Mckenna Folz, Bobbi Winner, Katie Pintens, Brooke Bushor, Cassandra Lamarr, Starr Krenzke, Sam Berndt, Brianna Bloomer, Bethany Hasenberg, Melanie Monnot.
Slap-shotting a letter in hockey were: Stephan Simon, Bryce Swiechowski, Nick Hoffmann, Adam Kohnhorst, Claudius Goeller, Loic Cauchois, Kyle Kleinschmidt, Kevin Bolder, Ben Rasmussen, Matt Ladewig, Reid Kleinschmidt, Jared Hoffmann, Michael Baumann, Andrew Wendt, Trevor Jahnke, Ryan Marsceau, Dylan Heller.
Receiving a participation award was Caleb Taylor.
