Daniel M. ?Boone? Kleinschmidt

Daniel M. “Boone” Kleinschmidt, 56, of the Town of Corning, Lincoln County, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at his home.
Dan was born November 23, 1955, in Merrill, son of the late Milton and Vernette (Langhoff) Kleinschmidt. He had been a truck driver for J&L Trucking. He was a former driver for Wendorf Bus Service, Merrill. Dan had also worked at the former Stoakley U.S.A. in Merrill, and was the former operator of “Boone’s Legion Lounge”, Merrill. Dan always enjoyed sitting around the campfire with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, listening to music, and the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his step daughter, Christina Frisinger of Merrill; his step son, Justin Frisinger (with Bobbie Monson) of Merrill; (5) step grandchildren, Chase, Alexis, Levi, Carsyn, and Jameson; (7) sisters, Katherine (Jeff) Baumann, Merrill, Bonnie (Richard) Thurs, Athens, Lynda (Michael) Kropp, Merrill, Gay (Roger) Mootz, Merrill, Wanda (Eric) Dillard, Colorado, Lois (Lee) Schmidt, Merrill, and Rebecca Kleinschmidt, Merrill; (6) brothers, Virgil (Sherry) Kleinschmidt, Gleason, Joel Kleinschmidt, Weston, Dean Kleinschmidt, Merrill, Brian Kleinschmidt, Wausau, Thomas (Laurie) Kleinschmidt, Weston, and Jonathon (Rebecca) Kleinschmidt, Irma; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Besides his parents, Dan is preceded in death by a step son, Jacob Johnson; and a sister in law, Devon Kleinschmidt.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Ed & Sharon’s Restaurant, Town of Corning.
