February 24

Medic runs: #239- 6:02 a.m., 95yoF, PCNH to MGSHC, trauma; #240- 9:25 a.m., 95yoF, MGSHC to PCNH, medical; #241- 10:04 a.m., 76yoF, S. Center Ave. to MGSHC, PNB; #242- 4 p.m., 26yoM, Hendricks St. to MGSHC, trauma; #243- 8:36 p.m., 18yoF, Grand Ave. to MGSHC, medical.

Other activities: EMS continuing education class at MGSHC on open fractures & treatment in the field; station tour for Kate Goodrich 1st grade class; bi-annual fire prevention inspections of area businesses.

February 25

Fire/rescue runs: #33- 10:12 a.m., fire alarm at 3350 E. Main St., popcorn machine likely tripped the sensor, MFD helped manager reset the alarm system.

Medic runs: #244- 1:27 p.m., 28yoM, Hwy. 17 to MGSHC, trauma; #245- 10:15 p.m., 82yoF, E. 6th St. to MGSHC, medical; #246- 10:58 p.m., 73yoF, E. 6th St. to MGSHC, medical.

Other activities: EMS training on airways; weekly station duties.

February 26

Medic runs: #247- 1:20 a.m., 73yoF, MGSHC to PCNH, medical; #248- 1:46 a.m., 82yoF, MGSHC to PCNH, medical; #249- 4:34 p.m., E. 2nd St., no transport, medical.

Other activities: training on signs, symptoms & treatment of hypothermic patients.

February 27

Medic runs: #250- 10:51 a.m., 66yoM, MGSHC to AWH, cardiac; #251- 12:11 p.m., 95yoF, Grand Ave. to MGSHC, cardiac; #252- 12:57 p.m., 87yoM, W. Taylor St. to MGSHC, cardiac; #253- 2:02 p.m., 87yoM, MGSHC to W. Taylor St., medical; #254- 9:59 p.m., 62yoF, E. 7th St. to MGSHC, medical.

Other activities: weekly station duties; physical fitness workouts; maintenance on Supra Box system; training on streets & buildings in town; CPR class for 8 MAPS employees.

February 28

Fire/rescue runs: #34- 4:01 p.m., sprinkler head damaged & flowing water at 1905 E. 14th St., system shut down & company called to fix.

Other activities: training on streets & addresses in the city of Merrill.

February 29

Other activities: training on standard operating guidelines for initial response to emergencies; study of city streets (map drill).

March 1

Other activities: department safety meeting; fire inspections of buildings in Merrill to help prevent fire hazards.
