Rodney G. Braunel, age 48, of Merrill, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
Rodney was born Dec. 6, 1963, in Wausau. He had been employed with Jay VanDerGeest Livestock, Merrill. Rodney enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Jeanette and David Schulz, Merrill; (1) sister, Pamela (Mrs. Brian) Seehafer, Merrill; and (2) brothers, Ronald Braunel, Reno, Nevada, and Michael (wife, Jill) Braunel, Merrill.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Scott Gustafson will officiate. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
