Prior to marriage Peg worked for Sentry Insurance. After marriage, she worked nearly 30 years in various Marathon County government offices including the Clerk of Courts, Secretary to Judge Ann Walsh Bradley, the Parks Department, the Central Wisconsin Airport manager’s office and most recently the office of the District Attorney.
Her varied interests included hiking, cross-country skiing, yoga, reading, cooking (especially trying new dishes), and driving vacations with her husband. The northern Wisconsin area of Ashland, Bayfield and the Apostle Islands was a cherished favorite destination. But by far her greatest joy was gardening. Her 350 plant Day Lily bed was special to her. She most recently helped her husband in re-doing and replanting six landscape beds.

Peg’s husband and family want to extend many thanks to the Aspirus Cancer Center staff, especially to Dr. Rezazadeh for his compassionate, steadfast care and who admired Peg for her concise assessment of her condition changes and for being well prepared with notes and questions at each appointment. Thanks also go out to Val, Renee, Ann and many others who assisted in her care.
The family will be giving any memorials received to the 2012 Relay for Life of Merrill, an American Cancer Society fundraising event and to H.A.V.E.N., a Merrill women’s shelter in, Peg’s name.
