Ruth (July) Myers, 95, of Tomahawk, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at home under hospice care surrounded by her immediate family.
Ruth was born April 23, 1916, the daughter of Frances and John July. Ruth married her husband Eli and they resided in Tomahawk. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, dancing and going to the casino.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 3 brothers, Ernest, Lloyd and Tom; 3 sisters, Margaret Johnson, Judy Goetsch and May June Welke; daughter-in-law Sharon Myers; 2 sons-in-law, Harold Hoffman and Ronald Pelon; granddaughter Connie Pelon; and great grandson Evan Podeweltz.
Ruth is survived by 4 sisters, Frances Hildebrand, Sandy Hoffman, Donna July and Johnnie Roberts; son Victor Myers, Tomahawk, Candace Pelon, Michigan, Nancy (Billy) Marvin, Tomahawk. She has 18 grandchildren: Chrystal, Sheri, Dale and Keri (Victor), Shawn and Lisa (Janet), Steve Ronisue (Candace), Annette, Andrew, Suzanne, Nicholas and Lindsay (Nancy & Billy); 24 great grandchildren, Travis and Brad (Chrystal), Lori, John, Dale and Janet (Sheri), Daniel, Ashley and Samantha (Dale), Colton, Jacob and Marissa (Shawn), Tanner and Caden (Lisa), Christopher, Amber and Dustin (Ronisue), Ryan, Nathan and Madison (Annette), Maria and Mark (Andrew), Jada and Andre (Lindsey); 5 great great grandchildren, Ethan, Hunter, Riley, Trinity and Nevaeh.
