Thaddeus ?Ted? Cegielski

Thaddeus “Ted” Cegielski age 77, Merrill, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Ted was born Jan. 31, 1934 in Cudahy, WI, the son of the late Leon and Stella (Ryba) Cegielski. Ted and Gail (Johnson) were united in marriage Aug. 26, 1969 in Georgia. She preceded him in death.
Ted had worked for Len Frahm of Athens for over 30 years, doing body work and truck driving. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing, Harleys, cars and working in the woods.
Suriviving are children: Wayne (Marion) Lammert, Paul (Paula) Cegielski, Greg (Karla) Cegielski, all of Merrill, Pamela Lewis, Phoenix, AZ, Rick (Kim) Piquette, Punta Gorda, FL, Paula Parker, Waverly, TN, Cari (Bruce) Compton, Port Charlotte, FL; 3 sisters: Irene Shepherd, IN, Gerry Krueger, Lebanon, OH, Sophie Janicki, Crivitz; 2 brothers: Wally Cegielski, Mosinee, Leonard Cegielski, Mosinee; brother in law: Ray Schinker, Wausau; grandchildren: Danielle and Chris Lammert, Rory and Trista Cegielski, Dustin Lewis, Madeline, Makenna and Maverick Wimmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gail in 2005, 5 sisters and a brother.
Funeral service will be 8 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Waid Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Burial will be at Merrill Memorial Park 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the family.
