The THS boys swim team dove into a new season with Thursday’s Rhinelander triangular. SPASH (293) took the meet over the Hodags (187) and Tomahawk (96).
John Lazarz ranked 2nd in the 100 fly (1:05.71) and 3rd in the 200 IM (2:23.78). The 200 medley team of Alex Tollison, Mason Brown, Lazarz and Vic Ierulli also came in 3rd, in 2:04.96.
Brown scored a PR in the 100 brea in 1:23.51 for 4th place, and also was 6th in the 100 free at 1:05.32. The 400 free squad of Lazarz, Ierulli, Taylor Randall and Tollison was 4th in 4:26.07.
Aaron Becker rated 5th in the 50 free (:30.26). the 200 free group of Brown, Chase Hilgendorf, Chris Weaver and Becker was 5th in 2:07.69. Placing 6th were Ierulli (500 free, 7:04.61) and Tollison (100 back, 1:17.45).
