Shannon L. Mahn, age 42, of Merrill, died Friday, November 4, 2011, in the Town of Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington.
Shannon was born November 14, 1968, in Merrill, son of William ‘Bill’ and Donna (Seis) Mahn. Shannon was a long-haul truck driver for B&D Motors, Merrill. Shannon had also worked at Northern Wire and the former Northern Door, both in Merrill. Shannon enjoyed fishing, driving truck, and bird hunting. In his earlier years, he enjoyed snowmobiling.
Survivors include his parents, Bill and Donna Mahn, of Merrill; one sister, Larana (Mike) Broeren, of Merrill; and one niece, Sara Broeren. Shannon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilfred and Arnine Seis; and his paternal grandparents, August and Emma Mahn.
A memorial service for Shannon will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. John Humphrey will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
