Mildred Hattie (Hagedorn) Klimek, age 93 of Merrill, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Pine Crest Nursing Home.
Mildred was born March 6, 1918 in Pine River the daughter of the late William and Ella (Nienow) Hagedorn. Mildred and Thomas Klimek were united in marriage March 6, 1943 in Milwaukee.
Millie enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting , crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and working in her garden. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Survivors include: 2 daughters, Loretta Moser, Merrill, and Helen Gray, Woodruff, brother, Harold Hagedorn, and some nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas, daughter, Margaret Wyland, brother, Milton Hagedorn, and 4 sisters, Adela Zastrow, Lillian Wegner, Ruth Langbecker, and Norma Hagedorn.
Visitation will be Friday, July 1, 10:30 am until the time of service. Funeral Service will be 11 am Friday, July 1, at Waid Funeral Home, Fr. Mike McLain will officiate, burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Online Condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com
