LeRoy F. Paquette, age 86, of Merrill, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
LeRoy was born January 31, 1925, in L’Anse, Michigan, son of the late Oliver and Nettie (Bye) Paquette. LeRoy worked for 35 years at the former Wisconsin Window Unit, Merrill, and had also worked for 35 years as a projectionist at the Cosmo Theater in Merrill. LeRoy assisted the former Merrill V.F.W. Drill Team as a driver/chaperone. His friends remember LeRoy as a good hearted and generous man.
Survivors include his good friend and caregiver, Christine Vorpagel and her family, of Merrill; and two sisters, Virginia Penokie and Patricia Lane, both of L’Anse, Michigan.
There will be no services. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting with the arrangements.
