Robert E. David, age 60, of Merrill, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
Bob was born March 23, 1951, in Tomahawk, son of the late Jay and Betty (Knipfer) David. He married Debra Hofmann on July 7, 1979, in Merrill. She survives. Bob had been the Quality Control Manager at the former Purpose Aluminum, Schofield. He enjoyed small engine repair, wine making, woodworking, and fixing anything.
Survivors include his wife Debra David, Merrill; one daughter, Stacy (Thomas) Smith, Merrill; three sons, Nathan David and Ryan (Nikki) David, both of Jefferson, Wisconsin, and Kevin David, Merrill; four grandchildren, Britney, McKayla, Katie Ann, and River; and two sisters, Phyllis Kroening, Schofield, and Cindy Neuman, Arizona. Bob is preceded in death by three sisters, Beverly Remer, Loretta Grode, and Mary Secora.
A Memorial Service for Bob will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2011, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Pastor Missy Holdorf will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Bethany Cemetery, Town of Birch, Lincoln County. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
