Charlotte M. Fink, 84, Merrill, formerly of Woodruff, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at Bell Tower Residence, under the care of Asera Hospice.
Charlotte was born Oct. 1, 1926 in Athens, the daughter of the late Karl and Clara (Haydam) Fink.Charlotte was a homemaker and caretaker, she truly enjoyed art, oil painting, flowers, gardening, baking, of which she made beautiful birthday cakes. Charlotte home schooled for both nursing and art.She enjoyed reading especially about history and adventures. She enjoyed visits from family and friends.
Survivors include: sisters in law Emily Fink, Athens, Bernice Fink, Woodruff; nieces and nephews, Susan (Dave) Belter, Athens, Patti ( Michael) Knab, Merrill, Dennis Fink, Athens, John (Joanne) Fink, Wausau, Nancy (Richard) Ewan, Athens, Edward (Karla) Fink, Athens, Karl (Sally) Fink, Minocqua, Michael (Heidi) Fink, Woodruff, James (Racquel) Fink, Milwaukee; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Wilfred, Lawrence, Robert and Raymond Fink.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Bell Tower Residence Chapel. The Rev. Fr. Tom Zelinski will officiate, with burial to follow at Athens Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. until the time of service at Bell Tower Residence Chapel.Memorial donations may be made to Bell Tower Residence.
