Daigle Brothers nominated for state Manufacturer of the Year Awards

Daigle Brothers, Inc. has been nominated by the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce for a 2010 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award. They are one of 53 Wisconsin companies nominated for this year’s prestigious awards, and are competing in the Small company size category, for companies with 1-99 employees.

Daigle Brothers, Inc. is a diversified steel fabricator and machine shop in Tomahawk that has been in business since 1987. They are a customer-driven organization built on integrity, flexibility, and quality, who supply structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial and industrial building projects throughout the Midwest.

Tamra Anderson, Executive Director of the Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce, nominated Daigle Brothers for the award. “Steve and Marie Daigle have worked hard to build this awesome family business,” said Tamra. “They are dedicated leaders who truly care about their employees and their community.”

As an American Institute of Steel Construction certified shop, Daigle Brothers has earned a reputation for excellence after years of growth through utilization of new systems and processes. They recently launched an environmentally friendly asphalt patch mix, and are working with a group to bring wind energy and rural broadband access to Lincoln County. Their loyalty to customers and quality maintains Daigle Brothers’ elevated business reputation.

The Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award winners are selected by an independent panel of judges and held in confidence until being revealed during a black-tie awards banquet at The Pfister Hotel on Feb. 24. Daigle Brothers will learn then if they won this year’s prestigious award.
