Molly Marguerite Hanson, born November 8, 1977 in Merrill, WI, was called home by Jesus January 21, 2011, in Oshkosh, WI.
Molly was a 1996 graduate of Merrill Senior High School. She was employed for years with Arts for Kids Child Care, first in Oshkosh and currently as Director at the child care facility in North Fond du Lac. Molly’s passion in life was children, she loved her job and all the shining faces that touched and took her heart. She loved volleyball, soft ball, camping, hiking, cycling, the Tripoli Farm and being with family.
Molly is survived by her parents: James Hanson, Merrill, and Linda (Don) Sparby, Merrill; grandparents: Albert & Helen Hanson, Tomahawk; step-grandparents: Martin & Dorothy Sparby, Mosinee; brothers: Mark C. (Karla) Spoehr, Merrill, and Shane (Leah) Hanson, Merrill; sisters: Stephanie (Michele Perault) Spoehr, Madison, and Jennifer Hanson, Merrill; fiancee: Adam Anick, Oshkosh; aunts: Susan (Dick) Hoppe, Judy Davis, Duane (Lorton) Mahn, Merrill, Elaine Wendt, Rhinelander, and Ruth Jonas, Wausau; uncles: Alan Hanson, Tomahawk, and James Davis, Waunamingo, MN; nephews: James Madden, Dyllan & Chase Zahn, Jake Spoehr, Bobby Brannon (godson), Austin & Alex Olson, and Collin Hanson; nieces: Kristina (Ryan) Lofink, Amira Lloyd, Kayla Norman, Brenna Spoehr, Alison Perault, and Lydia & Sylvia Hanson; great-nephew: Eli Lofink. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Greenwood & Ila Davis and a nephew, Kolton Norman.
A Private Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Waid Funeral Home with visitation from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
