Prairie River Middle School is proud to announce that Miranda Jahnke and Sara LaValley have been selected to participate in the 2011 National Band Association – Wisconsin Chapter All-State Junior Band.
These talented young musicians will perform with the group at the Finale Concert of the 27th Annual Convention of the NBA-WC. The concert will be held at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School, Wisconsin Rapids, on Saturday, Jan. 22nd, at 7 p.m.
The 2011 All-State Junior Band is comprised of 100 students from 51 schools throughout Wisconsin. Chris Gleason, a well-known and highly respected music educator from Sun Prairie, will conduct this year’s band. All performances at the convention are open to the public.
