Generations Funeral Home and Cremation Services will soon be opening its doors at 1400 N. Fourth St. in Tomahawk.

Co-owners and siblings, Kevin J. Krueger and Karri L. Krueger-Ernst are not new to the funeral business in Tomahawk.

“Having both grown up here and calling Tomahawk home for 40 years, our goal is to provide the highest level of caring, dignified, but also affordable funeral services to our community,” they said. “We had the honor of watching our father, James Krueger, retire just one year ago almost to the date, following his 40 years of funeral service here in Tomahawk.”

This family history, exposure and experience lead Kevin into becoming a 4th generation licensed funeral director back in 1992. Karri’s administrative skills will prove to be a great asset for both the business and to the families she will serve in her capacity.

“For all of you that have tried stopping by and calling us during our construction phase, we thank you for your patience,” the siblings stated. “It has taken longer than we had hoped, but our desire to build a modern, one-story, fully accessible and accommodating facility has been accomplished. We are so proud of it and we are even more proud to be able to be part of a special, care-giving profession in our community.”

Generations Funeral Home and Cremation Services will hold an open house on Friday, Jan. 21, from 2-6 p.m., and on Saturday, Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The co-owners will be available to answer questions or set up private appointments if desired.

“We are confident that you will find our ‘generation’ has a lot to offer in flexibility and price sensitivity in all arrangements, whether traditional or options involving cremation,” Kevin and Karri stated.
